October 10th grape harvest
The year started with rain, especially in February and March favoring budding and vegetative development in general, May was still very rainy while June turned to normal favoring the setting of flowers and future production.
A hot and dry July and August favored the evolution of ripening and the beginning of veraison. September was a month with temperature variations and moderate rain. October was a very rainy month again and the harvest, done during climatic pauses, making a great selection of grapes, was difficult. The result was a difficult vintage from an operational point of view but with good qualitative results thanks to the extreme attention in the sorting of grapes before pressing.
