October 2nd grape harvest

Winter and spring were mild and rainy, with little snow. Towards the end of May, heavy rainstorms arrived, and they increased in July and August.

In September and October, rain alternated with sunny, warm days, ending in a less-rainy October. This year, we understood just how crucial the period preceding the harvest is for the final quality of the grapes as well as that of the wines.
